Acupuncture
Dr Elaine is qualified through certification with the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society https://www.ivas.org/, in addition to this she has been a TA for the Chi institute. She has studied with AIAS - Australian Institute of Applied Science, and completed the human modules in acupressure, as well as studying with Dr Richard Tan in balance technique using piezo zapper. She prefers to use this "no needle" type of acupuncture with remedial massage and essential oils for maximum benefit for her clients.
Chinese Herbs
Dr Elaine has Certification through Cathay Herbal chinese medicine school, and can advise on herbal formulae for many medical conditions.
Cupping
Dr Elaine trained at AIAS to use cupping, but prefers NOT to bruise her patients! She uses a more gentler form of this, with oils and no burn!
Gua Sha
Dr Elaine has developed a less intense method of using cross fibre mobilisation and essential oils to relieve trigger points. No skin irritation or abrasion necessary.
Acupressure, Massage, Bodywork
Each patient has individualised bodywork, with take home physical therapy exercises. You gain most when you take responsibility for hour health- inside and outside!
